Community Policing Mt Tamborine style

Logan - truegritWET
One contestant needed a helping hand after standing on the edge of the final obstacle at the recent ‘truegrit’ 12 kilometre long obstacle team endurance event. Despite the crowd willing and encouraging her to jump for over an hour she decided she couldn’t do it and turned to climb down the back of the ramp and bypass the final obstacle.

In the crowd watching was a Queensland Police officer who simply said “No way”. He gave his belt to his partner, climbed the ramp in full uniform and jumped in with her. This is certainly one of the best things we’ve ever witnessed at an event and goes to prove that the police service certainly go above and beyond the call of duty!
Link to footage of the event is available on the organisers Facebook page.
