Our next meeting is the Annual General Meeting. The executive positions of Area Coordinator, Secretary, Treasurer and Newsletter Editor will all be declared vacant.
If there are residents that would be interested in being involved and in holding a position within our organisation please come along to the meeting and put your name forward.
We welcome all residents and appreciate fresh ideas!
As this is the AGM Newsletter I would again sincerely like to thank the continued and invaluable efforts of Frank Thorndike (Secretary), Leonie Rowe (Treasurer) and Sean O’Kelly (Newsletter Editor). Their continued commitment, support and assistance is so appreciated as we continue in our united efforts to do our bit to keep our mountain community safe.
I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Senior Constable Scott Guerin and Gwenda Von Kanel. Scott has been our long-serving NHW Police Liaison Officer and is now handing the reins over to Senior Constable Ben McAnany, one of the new police faces on the Mountain. Welcome to our Group Ben, and thank-you Scott for your time and assistance in all matters Neighbourhood Watch!
Gwenda is the admin champion of our team and I would be lost without all of her timely efforts…
I understand that Ben will be on leave at the time of the upcoming meeting but we hope to have him at our November meeting so that we can introduce Ben to our NHW community! Scott will be attending our August meeting and will update us on local matters – his last hurrah as our NHW Police Liaison Officer!
