It’s AGM time again….and I do mean again!!
At our last meeting – in August 2015 - the official AGM – an insufficient quorum of attendees at the meeting meant that we could not hold our intended AGM.
This was a disappointing outcome given that Neighbourhood Watch is a community group whose mission is to assist the local community, raise awareness of matters pertaining to our community and the safety thereof, and to operate with the support of our local Police & community. Our shared vision is for a safer community and it is only with your continued support and vigilance that we can live in safe surroundings.
So – we will be holding our AGM at our next meeting on November 25 and I urge anyone from our community that can attend to do so.
The positions of Area Coordinator, Asst Area Coordinator, Secretary, Treasurer and Newsletter Editor will all be declared vacant. If there are residents that would be interested in being involved and in holding a position within our organisation please come along to the meeting and put your name forward.
We welcome all residents and appreciate fresh ideas!
