Hoon's vehicle impounded
At about 4:30pm on Saturday January 9, an orange Holden was observed on Hotham Drive, Pacific Pines doing burnouts creating lots of noise and smoke and basically being a nuisance to those using the nearby park.
Thanks to footage taken by a witness on a mobile phone and a call to 13 HOON, officers from the Pacific Pines Police Beat caught up with the driver, a 34-year-old man from Oxenford.
The man made admissions to the offence and was dealt with under the provisions of the Transport Operations Road Use Management Act.
He has now lost his Holden for 90 days and at the end of the impoundment period he will also be liable for the costs from the holding yard.
