Update: Robbery with violence, Tamborine Mountain


A 14-year-old boy has been charged following investigations into a string of offences in Logan and Tamborine Mountain on the weekend.
It is alleged a group of people travelled to Tamborine Mountain in a stolen dual cab utility, assaulted a man and stole his station wagon in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The silver 2012 Holden Commodore station wagon with Queensland registration 164SLB is yet to be located.
Police have received information that ‘Bun Bun’, the white Staffy which ran away during the robbery returned to the same location in relatively good health this morning.
It will further be alleged the same group involved in the robbery were also involved in a burglary at a Beaudesert service station and a food store and service station in Canungra in the hours prior to travelling to Tamborine Mountain.
A 14-year-old Eagleby boy has been charged with one count each of armed robbery in company and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and three counts of enter premises to commit an indictable offence by break.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Police investigations into the involvement of others are continuing.
