National Australia Bank (NAB) are warning customers to be wary of a dodgy sms scam circulating nationwide.
The text
message, which reads:
“We regret to inform you that
your NAB card is now locked. To unlock, please update security details at
http://www.nabmobile.website"
is a scam and people have been urged
not to click on the link.
In an alert on Facebook, NAB warned all customers to delete the text
straight away.
“There are fraudulent SMS messages targeting customers informing them
that their NAB card has been locked. Do not click on the link.”
“If you receive this type of SMS, forward to spoof@nab.com.au and
delete it. If you’ve clicked on the link, please call 13 22 65 immediately.”
